Frisco Dentist Helps prevent cavities and helps needy families at the same time
Frisco, TX - October 19, 2009
Dr. Ernest De Paoli, dentist, owner of Advanced Smiles has a unique way of helping Frisco families prevent cavities especially during Halloween. Consumers spend $1.93 billion on candy during the Halloween season!! After an evening of trick or treating, most families usually end up with more candy than they can enjoy. What if we could help others with that extra candy we really don?t need?
In an effort to put all that extra candy to good use, Advanced Smiles will be buying your excess candy for a good cause. Here?s how it works. We will pay you $1 for every pound of extra candy you bring into the office from November 2nd through November 13th and we will donate a matching $1 to Frisco Family Services Center, a nonprofit organization that provides social services to Frisco individuals and families in need and assists them in becoming productive members of the community (www.friscocenter.org). Due to the economy, Frisco Family Services has seen a 30% increase in families requiring assistance during the past twelve months!
In addition, for every pound of candy you bring in, we will enter your name into a drawing for a new iPod shuffle! If you donate the dollar we pay you for your excess candy to Frisco Family Services we?ll enter your name in the drawing a second time! Who wouldn?t like to trade that excess candy you can?t eat for a chance to win an iPod shuffle!
